Start with the system you already know.
Alarm.com
Have an Alarm.com-compatible panel or communicator? We’ll review the model, connection hardware, and activation requirements to determine whether it can be brought onto Braxsys service.
Total Connect 2.0
Have a Honeywell or Resideo system? We’ll review your panel and communicator for Total Connect 2.0 service, including eligible VISTA and ProSeries configurations.
Not sure which platform you have? A model number or clear label photo is a good place to start.
What we need to review your system:
- Panel manufacturer and model.
- Communicator mode, if known.
- IMEI, module serial number, or MAC/CRC shown on the relevant device label, if available.
- Whether the system currently has service with another provider or the last known service provider.
- A clear label photo if you need help identifying the equipment.
The communicator is the part that connects your alarm panel to its service. The number printed on a keypad may identify the keypad rather than the panel or communicator. If you cannot safely locate a label, send the information you have and we’ll help you identify what is needed.
How a transfer works
01 — Identify your equipment
Submit your system details and tell us what you want your service to do.
02 — Review compatibility
We check the equipment and explain any upgrades or additional information needed.
03 — Coordinate the release
If your communicator is still registered elsewhere, your current provider may need to release it. Keep your current service in place until your transfer requirements and timing are understood.
04 — Activate and test
After you complete onboarding, Braxsys helps activate the supported services. You complete testing at the property with remote guidance.
Transfer note: Compatibility depends on the specific panel, communicator, firmware, registration status, and requested features. A compatibility review does not cancel or transfer your existing service. Professional monitoring begins only after the required setup and testing are completed and activation is confirmed.
